Revamped Mahindra Verito set for launch
Mahindra to launch face-lifted Verito on July 26, 2012

Mahindra is all set to launch the refreshed Mahindra Verito mid-size sedan on July 26, 2012.
The Verito is a competent family sedan with spacious interiors and a frugal diesel engine. However, its boxy looks did let it down and the all-black interiors lacked an upmarket feel, factors that constrained it largely to the taxi market.
The refreshed Verito features certain external styling changes including redesigned tail lights, wheel covers, different roof rails, reflectors in the rear bumper, and the rear licence plate slot has been moved from the bumper to the boot lid.

It is too early to comment on interior styling changes but Mahindra would do well to gone down the path that Renault did with the Duster for India, which sports spruced up interiors with beige plastics. A more upmarket design theme such as beige interiors along with more features and equipment can give the face-lifted Verito the edge against the competition.

"Verito' must be renamed "Vertigo" - so poor is the suspension that one may puke even on a smooth road.
