Mercedes-Benz pulls the wraps off what it claims to be the most beautiful and exclusive cars of all time – the S-Class Cabriolet. The topless S-Class will make its official debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show next week.

Mercedes-Benz managed to turn a lot of heads when they unveiled the S-Class Coupe and now they have got another in the form of the S-Class Cabriolet. The topless S-Class draws inspiration from the coupe version with the rear section looking almost identical. Needless to say that the droptop S-Class comes equipped with all sorts of technologies. One feature that deserves a special mention is the Airscarf, which adjusts the temperature around your head with the help of heated head rests. Further, it has 12 sensors that detect the solar radiation and atmospheric temperature to keep you cozy with the help of an imaginary blanket.

Under the hood, the S500 Cabrio gets a 4.7-litre twin-turbo V8 that makes 448 horses of power and 700Nm of torque. There will also be an AMG on offer in the S63 AMG Cabrio with a 5.5-litre twin turbo V8 churning 584PS. All the power pulls it from standstill to 100kmph in just 3.9 seconds.

Despite it being a Cabrio, Mercedes-Benz says it weighs almost as much as its Coupe sibling. The S-Class Cabriolet can drop its top within 20 seconds at speeds of up to 60kmph. This is the first S-Class Cabriolet to be revealed since the first Mercedes-Benz flagship open top since 1971.
