Maruti Suzuki delivers 1,600 cars on a single day

Country’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki, delivered 1,600 cars on a single day in the state of Karnataka. These cars were delivered by dealers on the auspicious occasion of Var Mahalakshmi  which is observed across the state of Karnataka.

Speaking on this festive occasion Ram Suresh Akella, Commercial Business Head, South Zone said, “The forte of Maruti Suzuki has been offering cars with great features and mileage along with lasting customer satisfaction. This has helped us gain trust tremendously amongst the customers in Karnataka. We wish all the Maruti Suzuki Customers in Karnataka a very Happy Varmahalaksmi and Happy Motoring to all those 1600+ families taking deliveries on this festive occasion.”

The company sells on an average 7,300 cars per month in Karnataka. The major models which are sold in Karnataka are the Swift, Dzire, Celerio and Ertiga. The carmaker’s premium offering, Ciaz has also gained overwhelming acceptance by customers in the state, according to the company. Maruti states that it has managed to sell 1,200 units of the Ciaz during April to July 2015.
