Receives an overwhelming response from customers within days of its official launch. Deliveries have already started across India

Though a tad disappointing in terms of its overall pricing, the new Verna now clad in its new ‘Fluidic Sculptural Design’ is by any means a spectacular looking mid-size sedan and should we look beyond its above average asking price across its 1.4 and 1.6 liter variants, it becomes quite apparent that this car is built to outperform all its current competitors on the road.

And it seems like our discerning Indian customers have somehow managed to draw a very similar conclusion, as the new generation Verna launched in India on the 11th of May 2011 in New Delhi has already registered over 5,000 bookings pan India.

Commenting on the early signs of new Verna’s success in the country, H. W. Park, MD & CEO, HMIL, said, “It is a matter of great pride for us to have received such an encouraging response for our recently launched Fluidic Verna. The Verna has many first-in-segment features and our customers have received the new Verna with unparalleled enthusiasm.”

Being offered by Hyundai at an introductory price of Rs 699,000 - Rs 1,074,500 (ex-Showroom, New Delhi), the new Verna hopes to capitalize on its futuristic design elements and cutting edge design, luxurious & well appointed interiors, latest technology and other features, all of which are being offered to attract mid-size sedan buyers in the country.

Both the 1.6 litre petrol and the diesel engines of the new Verna are mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission, while the manual transmission option is available with all the four engine options. The deliveries of new Fluidic Verna have already started across India.
