Renowned Japanese BMX Flatland athlete, Yohei Uchino aka Ucchie conducts workshop for enthusiasts in Pune

Red Bull recently brought popular BMX Flatland athlete Yohei Uchino to India to conduct a three day workshop for enthusiasts and later showcase their signature stunts at Sinhgad Technical Education Society, on 12th June. 

The workshop was open to all. Interested participants had to upload a video showcasing their BMX Flatland skills. 12 participants from these from across Mumbai, Pune and North-east India, were selected to learn and perform from the World’s no. 1 BMX Flatlander. Ucchie’s name has become synonymous with BMX Flatland stunting and constantly strives to make the BMX flatland scene popular. 

The ace BMX Flatland stunter, met and interacted with BMX enthusiasts about the increasing popularity for the underground sport in the country also sharing valuable insights and tips to help them improve their technique. Following the two day training under Ucchie, the event concluded with an exciting BMX Flatland event on 12th June where all the participants showcased their skills in front of the veteran. Baaz Khan from Mumbai was selected as one of the most promising and talented BMX flatland athletes. . He was rewarded with an opportunity of a unique learning experience to see how the sport has grown across the world at Red Bull Phenom.
