Hinting that we are closer to the launch of the Triumph Daytona 660 in India, the British manufacturer has now listed the bike on its website. While the sports tourer has already been launched abroad, we expect it to make its debut here in March 2024.
Now we know that the upcoming Daytona 660 is not exactly what enthusiasts would have expected the moniker to be revived as. Especially considering how iconic and a true performance machine the previous Daytona really was. But there is one thing: the sports tourer would make for an interesting addition to Triumph’s 660cc portfolio, which currently comprises a naked and an ADV.
That said, we do wish that this bike was named something else instead of Daytona, saving that particular moniker for a more out-and-out sport bike.
With the bike listed on the website, you can check out all the details of the motorcycle from the same including the 3 colours it is available in, detailed specifications and the accessories list along with price.
We expect the Triumph Daytona 660 to come with a price tag of about Rs 9.20 lakh (ex-showroom). Its rivals will be the Aprilia RS 660, Honda CBR650R, Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the upcoming Yamaha R7.
