Kawasaki Z900 Rs 9k Price Hike

Kawasaki India has increased the price of the Z900. Priced at Rs 9,000 more than before, the 2024 Kawasaki Z900 now costs Rs 9,29,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). It is available in a single variant and two colour options: Metallic Spark Black/Metallic Matt Dark Gray and Ebony/Metallic Matt Graphene Steel Gray.

The Z900 continues to be powered by a liquid-cooled 948cc inline four-cylinder engine that produces 125PS and 98.6Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. The naked bike retains all of the mechanical parts, features, hardware, and other components from the 2023 model.

The Kawasaki Z900 comes equipped with a colour TFT display with smartphone connectivity. The bike recieves all-LED lighting, three-mode traction control, and three riding modes: Sport, Road and Rain, while the Rider mode offers manual settings. It has a generous 17-litre fuel tank.

Built on a trellis frame the bike gets an inverted fork (120mm wheel travel) and a horizontal back-link monoshock (140mm wheel travel), both with rebound damping and spring preload adjustability. Braking is handled by dual 300mm petal discs at the front and a single 250mm petal disc at the rear, with dual channel ABS. It rides on 120-section front and 180-section rear tyres. The Z900 weighs 212kg and has a seat height of 820mm.

The 2024 Z900 goes up against the likes of the Triumph Street Triple 765, Ducati Monster and BMW F900R. The price hike isn’t all that substantial, and the Z900 still offers great value for the kind of performance and features it offers. Moreover, all of its rivals command a considerable premium.
