Sony India has announced the launch of XSP-N1BT, a smartphone cradle receiver which allows users to connect to their smartphone and have a complete control on music, navigation, phone calls, and text messages along with car tuner.
Sony XSP- N1BT can be propped on the dashboard, and the phone can be connected onto the dock. Their docking system accommodates various sizes of smartphone’s from various brands. Android smartphone users can utilise the one touch near field communication connection for quick Bluetooth pairing.
The smartphone cradle works in sync with the Sony ‘App Remote’ app unifying the car’s audio music and smartphone apps which can then be controlled via the device’s touch panel. One can also use voice commands for performing hands-free actions such as launching the navigation app, setting up travel destinations, responding to SMS, etc.
While its main attraction is the docking system, it can also be used as standalone device with CD, USB, radio and tuner functions. Lastly, the device has charging capability with an optimally designed compact USB cable for any type of smartphone.
This device is priced at Rs 12,990 and is available across all car accessories shops and major car showrooms in India.
