Man sabotages pricey Aston Martin to save stray dog in Delhi

A few people in this world would sabotage their expensive car to save a helpless creature. But, restoring our faith in humanity is a man named, Ashish Sabharwal, who rammed his expensive Aston Martin Vantage to save a stray dog in Delhi.

This car which is worth a whopping Rs 3 crore was crashed by Sabharwal, who claims that he tried to save a dog, and this in turn led to the accident. He escaped unhurt and no police complaint was registered following this incidence.

The Aston Martin owner stated that he was heading towards Chanakyapuri when he saw the dog crossing the road. When he tried to avoid hitting it, the vehicle swerved left, rode onto a footpath and hit the tree. The air bags opened up and saved him from the crash.

Sabharwal’s claim was validated by a few eye witnesses who told the cops that the driver appeared to have lost control of the car on Chandragupta Marg near the Italian Embassy while trying to save the dog. The car hit a tree before coming to a halt.

The bonnet and the front grille of the vehicle were heavily damaged. The portion above the bonnet came off and the engine, too, was damaged. A special crane was roped in by the police to haul away the scrunched up vehicle.

The Aston Martin Vantage comes equipped with a 4.7-litre V8 engine which clocks a top-speed of 300kmph.
