Having driven the Volkswagen Tiguan for over six months I have grown quite fond of this robust SUV. It is powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine that packs a punch on the road providing 190 hp which is more than sufficient for both city traffic and highway cruising. The all wheel drive system adds to the car stability and handling making it a safe choice under various driving conditions. On the downside the Tiguan is on the pricier side especially when we consider the maintenance and service costs in India.

Not Just Another SUV
The Volkswagen Tiguan caught my eye with its sophisticated European design and promises of a premium driving experience. After several months behind the wheel, it is safe to say it lives up to the hype. The interior is plush, with high quality materials and tech features that make every drive enjoyable. It handles like a dream, with enough power to make overtaking on highways feel effortless. However, the premium experience comes with a premium price tag and the maintenance costs can be a bitter pill to swallow compared to other brands.

Good ride quality and feature loaded
The petrol engine of this car is silent more than the diesel and the ride quality is so smooth and amazing but is a very highly priced car. The features are really nice and the touchscreen is very responsive and the interior look awsome and comes with the soft touch material but is not the sporty car. It is the most relaxed car to drive and comes with the all wheel drive that works really well and the exterior look of this SUV is really amazing but only the petrol engine is available.
Tiguan Negatives Points: No ADAS functionality, no diesel engine option, no lower priced variants
Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : If you enjoy driving, love the feel of quality and if you also like your cars to look and feel simple the Tiguan is made just for you
