Engine heads
4.2
Extremely easy and docile to ride for a very experienced rider, not as intimidating at it looks to ride in a straight line. Rocket Roadster can handle twisting and corners but the weight is apparent and during U turns. Does heat up a bit in traffic and can give 15 km/ltr if ridden sensibly on highways and can guzzle petrol like an elephant when ridden hard and fast as it should be. Tires are expensive and so is brake pads. Needs almost 6 litres of engine oil with the oil filter change. Other than that needs no other maintenance. In some models there have been oil leakage in the engine heads and needs some expert mechanic to set right. Once you ride the Rocket the only bikes which come close in terms of the adrenaline hit are the Suzuki Hayabusa or Kawasaki ZX 14R or H2. Truly a once in a lifetime ride.

Triumph Rocket III Pros and Cons
Rocket III Positives Points: Styling, Presence, Build quality
Rocket III Negatives Points: Price, Weight and dimensions of the bike, Dealer network and after sales
Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : The Triumph Rocket III Roadster is a monster and makes no excuses about it, everything on the bike is about brashness right from that massive engine to the fuel tank and follows the ethos that “bigger is better” to perfection.
