Very powerful, smooth and

4.2

Very powerful, Smooth and corner rocket kind of a machine. The iconic bs3 sound is missing but with the technology provided it can be given a pass.Bluetooth, Super moto mode, Trip readings, Mileage, Auto dimming speedo console, Sensor driven headlights which switch based on morning and night drives.Very bright drl.Power shifter which will let you change gears up and down without clutch.Useful while on tracks.Mileage is around 18kmpl and less if driven at peak. Both available colors are good.Breaks have good bite.830mm seat height.5.5 and above would find it comfortable to ride.Below 5.5 it depends on skill this is definitely not a beginner bike.If you are a beginner pls consider 200 or 250 cc.390 can be lethal if not handled responsibly. It will throw you off the bike if you accelerate without proper judgement specially while overtaking and in traffic.

Amazing machine

4.2

Amazing machine to have for daily commute pros 1.Great acceleration and power delivery on highway and non traffic roads 2.Great road presence 3.Styling cons1.I faced engine issue - heating problem which is common in the first batch of dukes2.Need to change gears on low rpm 3.Seating cushions could have been better.

Change gears

4.6

Superb bike q: should you buy one? a: absolutely. You see, The ineffective quickshifter does not change the fact that the 390 duke is still a great motorcycle. You can still change gears the traditional way.The quickshifter on the 390 duke is just a bragging right as none of the motorcycles in its segment has one.Heck, The next motorcycle to come with a bi-directional quickshifter is its own big, Mad cousin, The 790 duke! in any case, While a quickshifter is a nifty thing to have on the race track, It usually isn’t a make or break factor when buying a motorcycle in this class.

Gearing ratio

4.2

I think the perfect alrounder existing in market.Only heating issues but it is kind of okay for the performance and power in it.Rest everything is okay.Gearbox is too notch and gearing ratio is ideal.Just love the bike.

I am using this bike

3.8

I am using this bike for only one thing, thrill. I will not talk about the other aspects, like heating, heaviness on the handle, etc. All I will recommend is that if you are someone new and starting out for the first time please rethink your investment in the 390 , this is a very powerful machine. My idea of thrill is to go out twice a week with full gear and go racing around the city. the reason i do this is my limitations to go out on the highway as I don't make much time. I say my prayers each time I gear up because only I know how I ride, that being said the 390 is a beast and it's hard to tame for even experienced riders. I don't promote what I am doing but I want to share this especially with new riders.
