Launched amidst much fanfare at the final match of the Toyota University Cricket Championship (TUCC), the upgraded Toyota Etios and Etios Liva models for the year ahead do show a great deal of promise. Having jointly sold more than 1, 45,000 units since 2010, both sedan and hatchback have played their part in reviving the company’s fortunes in India and have now resurfaced in 2013 with a bolder and trendier appearance.

The face-lifted Toyota Etios and Etios Liva are not all that different to look at as compared to the outgoing models, but do offer a more stylish looking front grille with chrome finish. Outside rear view mirror mounted side indicators add a nice touch.

Things have gotten significantly better on the inside too, with the adoption of a two-tone upholstery and a rather well textured dashboard. Previously missing entertainment options like a 2 Din audio with Bluetooth, USB, Aux- In and remote on the outgoing model are now more generously offered across variants of the face-lifted models. Driver focused equipment upgrades include newer AC vents with air purifiers, a combi meter with blue illumination and even allow seat adjustments.

The old model and this model is better but I think that Toyota should have brought in an Auto model and it should have had all the features like the Corolla Altis.

i loved etios very much...i hv been in many cars...but etios back is very very spacious.....and leg room is osm.....never felt so comfortable.....drive was very smooth too....one thing that is stoping me to buy this car i cheap plastic....firstly the car needs to protect the ppl when there is a chance of accident..if plastic is cheap....the ppl life is risky...its ok if they increase the rate....but it needs to be rectified....
