In recent years, Hyundai has gone through a major transformation – not just in terms of the brand but also with regards to the products it has on offer. And this paradigm shift was kicked off with the launch of the new Verna and followed well with the launch of the Elantra. However, since that time the Elantra hasn’t quite got a substantial update. The Korean based car maker is now set to give its popular D-segment sedan an update.
But prior to the official launch in November, Hyundai has given us a sneak peek of the car by officially releasing a rendering. With the new 2016 Elantra, Hyundai will shift from its ‘Fluidic’ design language to the new Storm Edge design.
Up front, the 2016 Elantra is expected to have a grille similar to the one we’ve seen on the SantaFe and the Creta. The headlamps commence from close to the wheel arch and blend into the hexagonal grille. With just a single image released, it is difficult to say how the rear of the car will look like. Moreover, no engine details were released by Hyundai either. However, the car is scheduled to make its debut at the LA Motor Show in November. In India, the 2016 Hyundai Elantra will make its debut at th 2016 Auto Expo next year.
