Michelin opens TyrePlus retail store in Vashi

Seventeen hundred square feet is what the Michelin TyrePlus store is all about, gicing its customers a lifetime of an experience. The TyrePlus retail store in Vashi, located opposite to the Blue Diamond Hotel does not just sell tyres, it is also a fully equipped workshop with the latest machinery to cater to all tyre and car related issues.

This concept store is the twelfth from the tyre manufacturer and as proven to be the best tyre brand in the world (Read: The world's most trusted tyre brand). “The Indian auto industry is witnessing tremendous growth. With many car makers lining up their offerings for Indian buyers, the market is expanding rapidly and so are the opportunities for tyre manufacturers. Vashi is one of the most important commercial nodes in the region with growing opportunities for the passenger car vehicle segment as well,” said Chandan Thakur, National Sales Manager – Passenger Car, Michelin India.

An innovative distribution program is what the TyrePlus retail store is all about, giving its consumers a new way in retailing. “Through our innovative retail point TyrePlus we are confident that the concept will appeal to the consumers in this city”, Thakur added.

Chandan Thakur was accompanied with Gurbakshish Singh Madan, Owner, Grip Sales Pvt. Ltd. at the opening of the store. “We have been in the tyre trade for the past 35 years and we are now making a foray into passenger cars. Michelin makes world quality road mobility products which are now made available to discerning customers in India. TyrePlus in Vashi will cater to provide world class services and products to the consumers in the city,” added Madan.
