Honda's plans for the 2012 Paris Motor Show
Honda to showcase the new CR-V, 2013 CR-Z, EV-STER concept, 1.6 i-DTEC engined Civic and the original Honda Civic at the 2012 Paris Motor Show

At the 2012 Paris Motor Show Honda will be celebrating one of its biggest success stories, the Honda Civic. Ever since its launch back in 1972, 20 million Civics have been sold world wide in its 40 year life span. And to celebrate the achievement Honda will be showcasing the first generation Civic alongside the latest generation Civic in Paris.
Honda will also showcase the latest generation Civic sporting the company’s new 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine featuring Honda’s Earth Dreams technology. The engine develops 120PS of power and 299Nm of torque. The 1.6 litre diesel Civic will go on sale in Europe shortly.

Honda will also put on display the fourth generation CR-V at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The new CR-V has an impeccable image backed by strong demand in Europe and the new car will seek to carry the legacy forward. Armed with a choice of a 2.0litre i-VTEC petrol engine and a 2.2 litre i-DTEC diesel engine along with the option of two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive the new Honda CR-V is more attractive than ever before.
Honda will also showcase the 2013 CR-Z at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The new CR-Z features interior and exterior styling upgrades while the petrol engine and electric motor have been tinkered with to produce more power while keeping a tab on efficiency and emissions. Honda will reveal more details about the car at the show itself.
Honda will also display the EV-STER next generation compact electric sports car concept at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
Meanwhile, Takanobu lto, CEO, Honda Motor Co. has confirmed that the next Civic Type R is scheduled for intorduction in 2015 in Europe, the car will be derived from the new WTCC Honda Civic hatchback. The company will also develop a compact SUV, a new fuel cell vehicle and work on hybrid technologies for the future.
