Along with the innovative Tata Hexa six-seater concept, Tata Motors also unveiled the more powered version of the Bolt hatchback aptly titled Tata Bolt Sport, at the ongoing 2015 Geneva International Motor Show. The Bolt Sport concept churns out 120PS and comes with more aggressive body kit and additional features.

Powering the Sport concept is the same 1.2-litre REVOTRON petrol motor, which does duty on the Tata Bolt, but thanks to the remapped ECU and a high-flow exhaust system, it produces 30PS more than the standard hatchback. The motor has a power rating of 120PS at 5,500rpm and a peak torque of 170Nm between 2,000 and 3,500rpm, and comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

It also gets the Multidrive system, as seen on regular Tata Bolt, with three preset driving modes  - Eco, City, and Sports. Other mechanical changes on the Tata Bolt Sport concept include a firm and sporty suspension setup, larger 17-inch wheels with new alloys, and an all-round disc-brakes for greater bite.

In terms of design, the Tata Bolt Sport gets a different front grille, new bumper with a prominent lower lip and air dams, and smoked projector headlamps. Besides the body kit and side skirts, the concept also features sleek air vents on the front fenders for the sporty theme. Continuing the sporty theme, the cabin gets all black leather upholstery with contrasting red stitching and inserts. The Tata Bolt Sport concept also gets leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear-shift knob. The concept also features a Harman infotainment system with voice recognition and SMS readout option, along with speed dependent volume control. There no shortage of safety features either, as it is equipped with ABS, Corner Stability Control, and dual airbags.
