Fiat introduces Linea and Grande Punto Absolute editions

Automobile manufacturers are leaving no stone unturned in trying to clear their inventories and beat the economic slowdown. Fiat’s attempt involves two new variants for the Grande Punto and Linea. Badged ‘Absolute edition’,  these new variants include free accessories. And no, this time, it’s not just floor mats and stickers. 

The Absolute edition of the Fiat Grande Punto includes grey carpets, mud flaps, ‘Punto’ branded door sills and a navigation tablet with 3G connectivity.

The Fiat Linea Absolute edition includes more freebies than its hatchback sibling in the form of reverse parking sensors, a chrome strip on the boot, absolute badges in addition to mud flaps, beige carpets, ‘Linea’ branded door sills and the 3G navigation tab. 

Fiat will be offering these accessories at no extra cost. The offer is valid across all trim levels of the Punto and Linea, ie, Active, Emotion and Dynamic along with discount on insurance and free road side assistance. 

Following is the list of accessories that the Fiat Punto and Linea Absolute editions have been adorned with;

Fiat Grande Punto Absolute edition features

Fiat Linea Absolute edition features

1. Contoured mud flaps
2. Beige carpets
3. Linea branded door sill

The Absolute editions will be sold across all 174 Fiat branded dealerships. Tata Fiat dealerships and other dealerships will not gain stock of Absolute edition vehicles.

As mentioned earlier, all accessories are free of cost in the Absolute editions of both vehicles and they sport the same price tag as that of regular versions of the Linea and Grande Punto. The availability of the Absolute editions will depend on customer response, they are not limited edition models.
