Breitling limited-edition Bentley Continental V8 watch launched at Geneva
A Bentley is not for everyone, as even the cheapest model that adorns the Flying B insignia costs upward of Rs. 1.50 crore. However, now you don't have to own a Bentley to experience the excellence of one. The British marquee has joined hands with Breitling and created a limited edition Bentley Continental V8 watch as a tribute to the V8 range

Favoured by pilots for its sheer excellence, Breitling watch company has created a limited edition Continental V8 watch and put on display at the Geneva Auto Show, along side the Continental GT V8 range. And how limited is it? Only 250 of these have been made starting with a price tag of £7860 (~ Rs.6.23 lakh). Featuring a second time-zone display with an inner red metallic bezel bearing the names of 24 global locations of the British luxury car maker and engulfed in steel casing, the design is characterised by asymmetrical lugs, teamed with a bracelet or a rubber stamp reserved exclusively for this watch. And to make it even harder to get, the blokes at Breitling have drawn inspiration from the characteristic features of the superlative carmaker, including the typography of the dashboard instruments.

That’s not all. The collection also has a unique Bentley V8 badge, an iPad and iPhone case, card holder with money clip, a V8 red pin badge and key ring all made in imperial blue and linen to match the colours of the Continental V8 convertible on display at the motor show.

What’s more? there are also 100 limited edition 1:43 scale models that feature the same interior and exterior design as in the production car. The model car perfectly details the key features of the Bentley V8 like the gloss black matrix grille, iconic twin ‘figure eight’ exhaust tailpipes and red enamel Bentley winged ‘B’ badges.
Being the third largest R&D investor in UK, Bentley employs almost 4,000 employees in Crewe, Cheshire East, UK, which is home to all its operations including design, R&D, engineering and production and exports £500 million ( ~Rs.3,947 crore) worth of goods every year to established as well as emerging markets.
