Ford

Ford comes into this years MIMS at the MMRDA Grounds with its award winning small car, the Ford Figo. Having won the highest number of auto industry awards in a single year, the Figo was showcased at the 2011 Mumbai International Motor Show in its Colorad red avatar. On either side were Ford's other models, the Ford Endeavour and its compact sedan offering, the Ford Fiesta.

Beyond the long list of accolades lies a more responsible and focused path for Ford, which, with its growing strong, skilled and motivated employee base has been toiling hard to replicate Figo's
success. Expect eight new models from Ford in India by middle of this decade and to support that, a focused expansion in dealer and service network across the country is in progress.

After its forgettable initial stint in the country with cars like the Escort which came in before their time, Ford India has grown in proportions and in its understanding of the market. The latest punch it has thrown at the competition is the Figo, which has drawn massive response. Its other offerings include the Endeavour SUV, the Ikon and the Fiesta sedans.
