Pioneer launches new 'USB only' stereo

Compact discs are arguably the best source of high quality audio. However, stacking and keeping a track of your favourite music on CDs becomes quite a task. Keeping with the times Pioneer India has launched a new head unit priced at Rs. 4490, with just a USB/SD Card input
In today’s day and age, flash drives or pen drives are a quintessential part of life. Whether one has to carry important data or have music on the go, flash drives are undoubtedly the best medium to move around with. Looking at the current scenario of what a car audio buyer wants out of his stereo, Pioneer India has launched a head unit with a USB, or a smartphone or a SD Card input that will take care of all your music needs on the move. The head units, MVH-1490UB, is priced at Rs. 4490/- (MRP) and backed by a two-year manufacturing defect warranty, across authorised dealerships throughout the country.
The storage device can be connected to the head unit directly with the front auxiliary connection. In case of an iPod or an iPhone, the device can be connected through an optional accessory cable, CD-IU51.
“MVH-1490UB has been specifically made for emerging markets like India with a tech-savvy consumer base. More than 50% of India’s population is youth, a generation which understands technology and updates themselves to the latest.
