2025 KTM RC 390 Latest Updates

The next-gen KTM RC 390 has been spied on test for the first time. Check out what it packs here.

The next generation RC 390’s design looks to be an amalgamation of the old and current RC design. The fascia is revised and it now gets a projector headlamp, along with a one-piece fairing. This aesthetic is derivative of the track-spec RC8C, sans the winglets. Underneath the skin, the next-gen RC 390 is expected to be powered by a single cylinder 399cc mill, which will also be seen in the upcoming 2023 390 Duke.

The trellis frame looks to be tweaked, while the bike gets a new subframe and swingarm. The next-gen RC 390 is underpinned by a preload adjustable upside down fork, and offset monoshock. Braking duties are shared by a petal front disc and rear disc, and switchable dual-channel ABS is expected to be offered as well.

As the test mule spied has quite a few rough bits, the bike is in its initial stages of development and thus, expected to be launched only by 2025 at the earliest. Once launched, it will rival the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja 400 and upcoming Hero Xtreme 400S.
