Woman crashes car, says she was praying behind the wheel

The world is a strange place indeed, and it isn’t short of some bizarre people as well. Our belief in this fact is reinstated with an incidence that occurred in Ohio, Columbus where a woman rammed her car against another and upon being caught stated that she was praying to God to help her with personal problems when the accident occurred.

When the cops investigated the matter they believed that Marilyn Perry, 63, had been using her mobile phone when she collided with Pamela Beckham, 50, in downtown Bellevue, Ohio. However, the cops were shocked after listening to Perry’s explanation.

Beckham suffered a broken neck in the accident and her husband Darl stated that he did not believe Perry’s explanation that she was praying. 

In spite of her claims, Perry promised to enter a substance abuse treatment programme.
