Two Indian children participated as Chevrolet mascots in Manchester United's match vs Liverpool

Sonu and Sharik

Sonu and Sharik from India got a once-in-a-lifetime experience to participate as Chevrolet mascots and meet the Manchester United players along with nine other children from China, Brazil, Thailand and the United States. These children also got on opportunity to attend the Manchester United Soccer School and tour the Club’s stadium at Old Trafford.

Each player of the Manchester United’s team wore a match shirt with the name of his mascot on the back.  In a show of admiration and in line with the football tradition, Manchester United players removed their shirts and presented them to their respective mascots moments before the match started.

Sonu, who accompanied Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian and Sharik, who accompanied Memphis, were selected and brought to Manchester by Chevrolet because they embody the spirit of play.

Chevrolet aims to bring play and football to communities around the world through its Beautiful Possibilities Program. This is the second consecutive year Chevrolet is bringing children from across the world to Manchester to participate as mascots, an experience the brand plans to continue for years to come.
