Now, avoid parking blues with Volkswagen Last Mile Surfer electric scooter

In most of our busy metros finding a place to park a vehicle is a difficult task. One has to struggle to find a decent parking spot, or park at what seems like the end of the earth before moving to the destination.

But, Volkswagen seems to have heard your pain. The carmaker has come to the rescue by introducing a three-wheeled electric scooter called the Volkswagen Last Mile Surfer which is designed to shuttle to you from destination A to B minus the parking grief.

The three-wheeled scooter is a part of the carmaker’s new strategy to expand operations into different mobility platforms. The Last Mile Surfer electric scooter weighs in just at 11.2kg and is designed to fit in the trunk of your car. 

The scooter is powered by a lithium-ion battery and can travel for around 20km before the charge runs out. According to Volkswagen, the Last Mile Surfer electric scooter will go on sale in the international market next year with a starting price of Rs 69,000.
