Indian cricket stars mint millions of dollars from endorsements and other deals, so what do they do with this pile of money? Well they spend in on some fancy set of wheels...

Sachin Tendulkar

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar not only leads with respect to centuries and the runs he has scored but he also has owned an enviable range of cars making him the biggest petrolhead among Indian cricketers. The pride of his garage is his shiny red Nissan GT-R with a custom Wald wide body kit and performance upgrades which hikes the power output to a speculated 700PS. Being the official brand ambassador for BMW India, it isn’t surprising that Sachin Tendulkar owns a fleet of BMW’s. His latest addition being the exclusive BMW M5 "30 Jahre M5" (30 years of the M5) which produces 608PS of power and 700Nm of torque.

Ferrari 360 Modena

All this numbers are good enough to propel the limited edition BMW M5 to 100kmph in under 4 seconds which is really impressive for a four-door family sedan. Other cars in his stable include the V-12 powered top-of-the-line BMW 760 Li, BMW X5M50d (the only example in our country), BMW 5-Series and BMW 3-Series GT. In the past, Sachin has owned a Ferrari 360 Modena that was gifted to him by F1 legend Michael Schumacher, E60 BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz C36 AMG, Mercedes-Benz SL500, Audi Q7 etc.

Yuvraj Singh Bentley Continental GT V8

Yuvraj Singh

The swashbuckling cricketer who is known for his quick fire innings has also similar taste in cars. Yuvraj Singh currently owns the ultra luxurious Bentley Continental GT V8 which has a power output of 507PS and 660Nm of torque good enough to dismiss 100kmph in just 4.6 seconds and a top whack of 303kmph. Other cars in Yuvraj Singh’s collection include a BMW M5, BMW M3 convertible and a Audi Q5 that was gifted to him by Audi India for his fantastic performance in 2011 World Cup. Yuvraj was the first Indian cricketer to own a Lamborghini when he purchased a pre-owned Murcielago LP640 supercar which is a thoroughbred Italian supercar.

Powered by a V-12 motor pushing out 640PS of power and was potent enough to catapult to 100kmph in just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 336kmph. But the Lamborghini was sold off last year and he has also previously owned cars like the BMW M3 and Porsche 911.

Kohli

Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is a self confessed petrolhead with a good collection of cars that is growing with every passing year. Kohli’s favourite car is the Audi R8 V10 supercar a video of him taking his RCB team-mate Chris Gayle for a spin in it went viral during 2013 IPL. Kohli regularly drives the car around New Delhi whenever he has free time and also has been spotted at the BIC race track to savour the supercar. He also loves SUV as he has the BMW X6, Audi Q7 and his latest addition, the new Rang Rover. He was also gifted the new Audi R8 LMX which is the first car in the world with laser technology in its headlights and is limited to just 99 units.

Range Rover

The Audi R8 LMX is the first car in the world with laser technology in its headlights. The combination of LED and laser lights was first used on the Audi R18 e-tron quattro at the 24 Hours of Le Mans last year. The laser lights in high beam have a light throw of up to 500 metres and are activated at speeds over 60kmph. Recently he was spotted driving in the Range Rover with Anushka Sharma (who also incidentally owns a Range Rover). In an interview he had mentioned that his dream car is a Maserati and given the fact that Maserati would soon re-enter Indian market and his endorsement deals, we could see a new Maserati entering Kholi’s garage anytime soon.

Virender Sehwag and the Bentley Continental Flying Spur

Virender Sehwag

While Virender Sehwag loves to keep it simple on the cricket field as his funda is “watch the ball, hit the ball” but when it comes to car his taste is special. Called affectionately by his fans as the Nawab of Najafgarh by his fans, his taste in cars is royal too. Sehwag was the first Indian cricketer to own a Bentley when he ordered a bespoke one few years ago. Sehwag owns a pristine white Bentley Flying Spur luxury sedan. The Bentley Continental Flying Spur is among the most luxurious cars in the world with an interior crafted from high grade leather and the best veneers with numerous customisation options to add that personal touch. Powering this luxobarge is an equally behemoth W-12 motor churning out 605PS of peak power and 723Nm of gut-wrenching torque good enough for a top speed of above 300kmph.

Hummer H2

MS Dhoni

MS Dhoni’s love for motorcycles is known to everybody. But when it comes to car, the Indian Cricket team skipper has a soft spot for big burly SUV’s. Dhoni paid over Rs 1 crore and got himself the humungous Hummer H2 which is the most expensive car in his collection. Other cars in Dhoni’s collection include Land Rover Freelander, Audi Q7 and Mitsubishi Pajero. He also is a proud owner of a customised open-top Mahindra Scorpio which is used to have some fin in the mud.

Suresh Raina

Suresh Raina is known for his fast hitting in the closing stages of the match especially in T20 cricket. When it comes to car, the Chennai Super Kings star likes to have some topless fun in his Porsche Boxster sports car finished n a bright yellow shade similar to his IPL team. Raina has used the Porsche Boxster extensively during all the matches of IPL in Chennai as he used to driver around the coastal city soaking in the sun. But he doesn’t drive alone as every time he was out for a spin he was spotted with a team-mate, the most famous fellow passenger being Mahendra Singh Dhoni who seemed to have had a great time on the sports car.

Harbhajan Singh

In a list dominated by batsmen, Harbhajan Singh is an exception, as after the Indian skipper got his shining silver Hummer, Singh followed suit. The off spinner is so much in love with his new car that he has posted photographs of his new acquisition in his blog. Bhajji’s eagerness to take his Humvee for a spin, even before getting it registered, got him into trouble when the Chandigarh police fined him for the offence. The Hummer aside, Harbhajan also owns a Ford Endeavour and hordes of bikes and cars that he was awarded for his cricketing skills.
