Hilarious: Man gives away stepdaughter’s car for free

Ella Williamson, 20, abandoned her Peugeot 307 when she left her home town of Gosport, Hampshire, to study at the University of Brighton. However, her petrolhead stepfather, James Baggott was so appalled by the state of the car that he decided to give it away for free.

Baggott decided to write up an advert, rather a satirical advert we say, to try to get someone to take this car, which clocked 91,000 miles, off his hands. The stepfather who edits a motoring website has put the car up as a competition prize with a write up that states, “Just how badly do you treat your car?”

The witty advert on the motoring website comically notes the car has a new battery and can still be driven as it managed to make it from one side of the car park to the other. Furthermore, the tongue-in-cheek humour has been taken to a next level by Baggot, by stating that the car boasts of Peugeot's magical colour changing paintwork as the door handles and bonnet have been painted in a different shade, while its interior is stained with marks and cobwebs and mould have grown near the hand break and gear box.

The comical advert also notes that the car has suffered some ‘battle scars’ which it sustained as a result of his stepdaughter’s parking habits in the walls, trees and shopping trolleys. If anyone is still interested in taking this car home for free, all that one has to do is like the company's page and the post on a social networking website. Baggot’s company will then get in touch with that lucky person.
