Frankfurt 2015: Land Rover brings in the pedal car concept

It seems Land Rover had made up its mind to make heads turn at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The carmaker was indeed successful in grabbing a lot of attention from spectators by bringing in its Land Rover Defender Pedal Car concept to the podium which surprised one and all.

While the Defender Pedal Car is labelled as a concept it actually previews a hand-built pedal car model that is set to go on sale in 2016.

Land Rover’s rugged build quality and attention to detail can be found on this concept as well. The pedal car receives a rolled-edge aluminium frame, a realistic front fascia and retro-styled wheels with off-road tyres.

The interior is trimmed in tanned leather and the Defender Pedal Car also receives spring suspension and working brakes.

This pedal car will cost a premium as it will be a collector's edition.
