These features include a new digital instrument console with a handy service reminder, trip meter and a digital clock. Besides these the new Suzuki Swish 125 also gets a maintenance free battery and tubeless tyres. Suzuki has replaced the older fibre front mudguard with a sturdy new steel fender.
The new Suzuki Swish 125 comes with slight visible changes such as a pair of blue lens parking lamps and multi-reflector lights, with blue-tinted headlamps. The 125cc scooter also gets flashy new graphics and a range of new body colours - Metallic Sonic Silver/Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Mirage White, Glass Sparkle Black, and Candy Dark Cherry Red/ Glass Sparkle Black.
Atul Gupta, Executive Vice President, Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL), said, “We believe that the Suzuki Swish, with its new features, is in tune with the changing market demands. We expect the smart, youthful look to appeal to young urban riders. The new features will enhance ownership experience through easy user interface, better riding comfort and additional maintenance features, ensuring that the new Swish is a perfect ride for all age groups. We are confident that the new Suzuki Swish will be a scooter to reckon with in the 125cc segment.”
Being essentially a facelift, there are no changes mechanically and the 2015 Suzuki Swish 125 continues to be powered with an 8.7PS, 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine mated to a CVT transmission. Other highlights of the scooter include an under seat storage capacity of 20 litres, fuel tank of 6 litres and telescopic front suspension.
