Its bigger. Its better. And yes! It could be the one to take the crown as the best hatchback this year. The all new Maruti Suzuki Swift has a lot of changes on the inside and the outside as well. Know more of the All new Maruti Suzuki Swift.

Let’s not waste any more time praising the car, not that its a car not worth praising, but, lets get down to the basics of the interiors and exteriors that have been totally re-worked. So, people, do not expect a face-lift if you have been thinking about this. Think of a new entry in the hatchpack.

Exterior:

The new Maruti Suzuki Swift is built on an all-new platform. Which somewhat is a size between the old Swift and the SX4. This makes the new model, longer by 50 mm, which gives decent leg room at the rear. Huge 14 inch wheels have also been put in on the base and middle versions while the top end comes with 15 inch alloys with the top end version with ABS with EBD and Dual SRS Airbags.

Not enough! Check this. The new swift follows the same design silhouette, but, the small details like the headlamps, the wheel arches and taillights have been accentuated to give it an upmarket feel.

Interior:

Maruti Suzuki has been somewhat criticized about using cheap plastics in the interiors. However, this is surely going to change with the new Swift. A Kizashi inspired cockpit with steering mounted controls and yes, the plastics are of much better quality with a fresh new feel on the inside from the dashboard, to the rear seats.

The Driver Information System also has been updated and reminds you if you have not fastened your seat belt, or if there is low fuel with an audio warning. Adding to such little gizmos, the car also has tilt steering in all versions and retractable cup holders. An all digital integrated stereo also comes in the top-end versions of the petrol and diesel mills.

As for the rear legroom. Since the car is on an all new longer platform, the rear space has also increased. The NVH levels have also been improved.
