Suzuki might put into production the turbocharged Recursion concept motorcycle that was showcased in 2013

Carmakers have successfully adopted forced induction to not only hike up the power output of their machines but also to abide to the stringent emission norms. Now it seems the two-wheeler industry is also going the forced induction way as according to Japanese publication Young Machine, Suzuki is planning to build a production version of the Recursion concept. The Suzuki Recursion concept debuted at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show and the highlight of the motorcycle was its turbocharged 588cc, twin-cylinder powerplant. That Suzuki is planning for a turbocharged production motorcycle doesn’t really come as a surprise as recently Kawasaki unveiled the Ninja H2 and Ninja H2 performance motorcycles. Also the fact that Suzuki hasn’t really launched any remarkable motorcycle in the past few years gives the Recursion more credibility.

According to reports, the Suzuki Recursion will churn out 100PS at 8,000rpm and 100Nm of peak torque at 4,500rpm. It is speculated that the bike will tip the scale at 174kg and will be 50 per cent more fuel efficient than any other 600cc supersports offering. From the spy pic it is clear that the styling of the Suzuki Recursion will be heavily inspired from the concept motorcycle.
