Royal Enfield is on a roll, and in September 2015 alone, the company sold 44,491 units in combined domestic wholesale and exports, recording a growth of 59 per cent over the same period last year.
Domestic sales alone accounted for 43,741 units in September 2015, up from 27,540 units in the same month last year. Royal Enfield exported 750 units in September 2015, up from 480 units in September 2014.
Later this year, Royal Enfield is expected to launch a brand new model, the much-awaited Royal Enfield Himalayan, a 400cc single-cylinder adventure motorcycle. The RE Himalayan is expected to be priced at around Rs 1.75 lakh.
