Maruti Swift DZire Tour now for private car buyers

Does your desire for the DZire surpass the excruciatingly long waiting period? Then go take a Tour. No, we mean literally. Maruti has now opened bookings of the Swift DZire Tour for private car buyers
Despite Maruti’s Manesar plant being shut for a while, demand for the Swift DZire has been stronger than ever, resulting in longer waiting periods for the car.
To reduce the waiting period, Maruti Suzuki has put the first generation Swift DZire (now available as the 'DZire Tour' for the taxi market) on sale for private car buyers.
The first generation Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire with its spacious interiors and 440-litre boot is one of the most practical and value for money propositions. However, the Swift DZire Tour is available only in a basic trim so you get only power steering and air conditioning as standard features. Shell out around Rs 10,000 more and Maruti will upgrade the car with all the features of an LXi/LDi spec such as body coloured bumpers, door handles, boot handle and a left side ORVM.
The Swift DZire Tour has been priced at Rs 4.89 lakh (petrol) and Rs 5.91 lakh (diesel), ex-showroom, New Delhi for private car buyers. That’s Rs 1,000 cheaper than the new-gen Swift LXi and Swift LDi. The Swift DZire in Tour spec then is an interesting alternative for private car buyers.

After a long research I brought DZIRE TOUR 10 days back and I am happy with it as it fulfills my requirements i.e bigger boot space and comfortable seating compared to new dzire. when I test driven new dzire I felt its too compact car than normal swift. Its only good for its medium sporty look where as tour looks classic. If you go on long trips frequently TOUR suits u well. Within city n for smaller family( thin people! ) new dzire is best. But when you go for tour get all accessories done outside( known car decor wil be best ) rather than at showroom as there prices are high for same products outside. Hope this review helps. i purchased tour dezire diesel model and asked maruthi dealer to upgrade it.now it is similar to vd model dezire and costed me Rs50000/- cheaper also than the dezire vd model..the seating is more comfortable than the regular dezire.i like the car.

dezire tour is really a good car,value for money but there is no comparision between new and old.new gen dzire is awesome,it give an energetic and hot look rather than old one.i would say both are good to bye,just depands upon ur budget...
