Keeping true to tradition, Maruti Suzuki has launched yet another limited edition version for the Swift. The new variant, christened Glory Edition gets a few additions both on the exterior and interior front and as usual is available only on the VXi and VDi variants. The Glory Edition Swift gets not mechanical upgrades nor does it get a set of airbags.
The Swift Glory Edition gets a two tone paintjob with the car in a shade of white and the roof and body kit in a shade of bright red. The Glory Edition Swift also gets a set of chequered flag racing stripes. That said, the Glory Edition will still get a set of steel wheels painted in black with a set of full wheel covers. Maruti Suzuki should have atleast given a set of alloy wheels as a part of the additional kit.
On the interior front, the Maruti Suzuki Swift Glory Edition gets a two tone black and red finished seats which also have the same raving stripe motif on them. You also get a rear parking camera and sensors and Bluetooth connectivity. The special edition does not however get a set of steering mounted audio controls and a tail gate mounted wiper as the VXi and VDi trim levels do not get it either. All in all, like with most Maruti special editions, we are sure that there will be more than a few takers for this.
