Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare to commence on 1st August, 2015

In its seventh year, the Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare will see participants commence the battle for the top spot on 1st August, 2015. This year’s Dakshin Dare will see contestants start from Bangalore and head north with Hyderabad as the final destination. 

This year’s Dakshin Dare 2015 will make its way through formidable terrains of Shimoga, Tumkur, Chitradurga, Bellary and Mangalore covering a total distance of around 2,000km. The said has been split into 5 stages which will be covered in 7 days. Although the Rally will be flagged off from Fair Field Marriott in Bangalore on 2nd August, 2015, competitors will have to report for Scrutiny and documentation on 1st August. This thrilling experience will culminate into a prize distribution ceremony at the final pit stop in Hyderabad, on 7thAugust, 2015.

Although not as gruesome as the Raid de Himalaya or the Desert Storm, the Daksin Dare tests the skill and endurance of the car as well as the driver. In fact, this year’s route is claimed as the most challenging route ever, and despite that Maruti Suzuki expects a more than 120 participants in 2015.
