Mahindra has revealed that the long awaited 300cc bike, Mojo, is undergoing final testing and may go on sale by next fiscal

Mahindra 2 Wheelers revealed its plan of launching the long overdue 300cc bike Mojo by next fiscal. The Mojo will be powered by a 300cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled DOHC engine with electronic fuel-injection and will be mated to a 6-speed transmission. According to company officials the test bike is undergoing severe testing to make sure that the engine and vehicle components are suitably tested before the bike hits the road.

Anoop Mathur, president of Mahindra two-wheeler sector, is quoted by PTI as saying, "We are going through testing protocols right now for the engine. We are hopeful of its launch in the next fiscal."

Mahindra 2 Wheelers has recently unveiled two new 110cc motorcycles, Pantero and Centuro, which were developed and designed completely in-house by the company. The bike-maker also plans to start exporting these motorcycles before March 2013. Mahindra will also launch a new variant of the Rodeo scooter in the third quarter of next fiscal.
