Jaguar will reveal its new two-seater coupe at the forthcoming Frankfurt Motor Show - The Jaguar C-X16 concept

Under the hood, the C-X16 hides a 3.0litre supercharged V6, with a thunderous 376hp and a massive torque of 450Nm. If you think that the power is still not enough, Jaguar has a Hybrid system which can enhance the car’s output by 70kW and 235Nm. The system is inspired by the Formula 1 cars of this year with the hybrid boost system mounted on the steering wheel. The C-X16 can travel at speeds of 80km/h solely with the electric power.

The car is capable of a naught to 100km/h in a meager 4.4seconds with a top speed of nearly 300km/h. With dimensions of 4,445 x 2,048 x 1,297 and a wheelbase of 2,622 the Jaguar is the smallest car created by the manufacturer in terms of length since 1954.

With the engine up front and the battery pack mounted at the rear, weight distribution is a perfect 50:50. The look of the car is as beautiful as any can get, courtesy Ian Callum, Jaguar’s Director of Design. "Jaguars have always been dramatically different. With the C-X16 we have moved the current award-winning design language on to the next generation, creating a car that is the very essence of future Jaguar performance,” said Callum.

The C-X16 is not just a gorgeous looking machine but is also a major advancement in terms of technology from Jaguar.
