Honda has been christened the 'Most Preferred Scooter Brand of the Year' at the North East Consumer Awards 2012

Honda emerged ’Most Preferred Scooter Brand of the Year‘ at the North East Consumer Awards 2012, with strong sales of the Activa and Dio scooters. The winner was decided by the results of market intelligence agency Oikonomist’s survey involving 1040 respondents. Honda’s registered a 36 per cent growth in April-December 2012 sales in the North East, compared to a two per cent growth by rival manufacturers.

This recognition re-affirms customers’ appreciation of brand Honda and its continued leadership in the automatic scooters in India.”

Honda has 21 sales and service outlets in the North East, and plans to increase the number. It inaugurated outlets in Mizoram and Manipur recently.
