In a recent announcement, NGM Forward Racing declared that they have signed Stefan Bradl to race for them in the 2015 MotoGP Season. The 24-year old will now move from a Honda machine and get onboard a Yamaha for the next season.
The 2011 Moto2 champion shifted to the premiere class of grand prix racing in 2012 and since then has managed to secure one pole position and a podium finish at the 2013 United States Grand Prix.
Giovanni Cuzari, Team Owner of the NGM Forward Racing outfit, commented, “It’s with great pleasure that we welcome Stefan Bradl to our team. We believe that Stefan is a strong rider, that our package will suit his riding style very well and we look forward to start this new cooperation. Moreover, Germany represents an important market and it’s important to have a strong German rider in our line up.”
Aside from Bradl, the 2015 MotoGP season will see Cal Crutchlow make the shift from Ducati to CWM-LCR Honda. Andrea Iannone will replace Crutchlow at Ducati. Andrea Dovizioso has renewed his contract with Ducati for the next two seasons. A new deal will see reigning champion Marc Marquez continue with the Repsol Honda Team till 2016.
