Ahead of its launch in India, a Honda CBR650F was spotted at the Buddh International Circuit, doing laps, possibly for a commercial shoot.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India announced earlier this month that production of the Honda CBR650F will begin in two months with an initial production of two units per day.
Honda has already identified 20 different town and cities where the CBR650F will be sold. HMSI service staff from different regions have already undergone a two-week service training for the CBR650F in Japan.
The CBR650F will have 95 per cent imported parts - including the engine – with the remaining 5 per cent comprising locally sourced components. Localisation will increase over time, Muramatsu said, with improvement in workers skills and sourcing of local parts.
The CBR650F will be a landmark product for Honda in India, underscoring the Make in India and ‘sell in India’ strategy of the company. The CBR650F assembled here, will not be exported to any other market and will be sold exclusively in India. Owing to the largely imported parts assembled here, the CBR650F will not come cheap, and will likely be priced around Rs 8 lakhs.
