Face-lifted BMW Z4 revealed

While it was supposed to be unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show, the new Z4 has revealed itself far earlier
The all new BMW Z4 is out and while it isn’t an all new car, there are quite a few changes. The biggest change is the introduction of a new entry-level model, the BMW Z4 sDrive18i, which is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that develops 154bhp. It comes with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, or an eight-speed auto gearbox can be ordered as an option. Aside from the new engine, there are some minor tweaks to the Z4’s exterior, including revised LED headlights and a choice of new 17 and 18-inch alloy wheel designs.
Inside, BMW has added the option of the Design Pure Traction styling pack, which adds black and orange contrasting trim to the interior. The Z4 also gets the option of the impressive internet-connected Professional navigation system. Leather trim is also standard for the sDrive28i models and above, with a Fineline Anthracite wood finish available as an option.
The M Sport package - comprising bespoke suspension settings, alloy wheels and exterior and interior trim - is again offered, with a more focused version of this pack available on the sDrive35is range-topper. More power, better handling and better looks, the new Z4 has definitely evolved for the better.

What they fail to mention in the article that this is the first BMW that was designed exclusively by women. From the design director of this project to the interior and exterior design leads, everybody who worked on this project as lead is a woman. I like the final product. It is much better looking than the last Z4 designed by Chris Bangle.

z4 is awesome convertible however new 3 series has better facial design and looks more attractive however still subjective to an individuals taste :)
