Fiat has planned to showcase the face lifted versions of their Punto and Linea. It’s been a while since the hot looking Punto entered the Indian market and it’s still hot enough to turn heads. The new car has been launched internationally and changes include an all new front end with re-designed headlights and tail lights and a bigger grille. The interiors have been freshened up as well and are a lot nice place to be in. There are new engines being offered as well, but the chances of these engines making it to India are pretty low. Expect minor bumps in power and keep praying that we get that smoking 1.4 multi-air unit.

The Fiat Linea may be the only sedan from the Italian car maker in India and its competition line-up goes out the door and around the block. While most of those competitors are very good in many aspects the Fiat steps away from the line-up and offers people something different. The styling is exquisite, its spacious, the car rides well and comes with decent levels of equipment.
Fiat has decided to refresh the Linea for 2012 with cosmetic changes and maybe a few added features. Expect to spot an even more striking car at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo.
