Maruti Suzuki Rock N Road: Redefining the SUV Experience

After the recent unveiling of the Mini JCW hot hatch, the car manufacturer has released the first rendering images of the Mini Clubman Vision Gran Turismo virtual race car, which is the latest edition to the popular video gaming series Gran Turismo 6 for Sony PlayStation 3.
Interestingly, the virtual racing car is not based on the Mini JCW model, but is based on the yet to be launched 2015 Mini Clubman estate. The renderings feature the estate, but with the sporty John Cooper Works treatment. Unlike the production Clubman, which will have four side doors and a split bootlid which opens like a barn door, the Mini Clubman Vision Gran Turismo is depicted as a coupe. However, the rear rendering still shows the unique split bootlid on the virtual race as well.
Like other Gran Turismo versions rolled out by various car manufacturers, the new Mini Clubman Vision Gran Turismo will also sport aggressive styling with extreme body kits. It will feature a large carbon fibre front splitter and rear diffuser, along with twin rear spoiler and a vented hood. You can’t miss the LED headlights, and the outrageous 22-inch alloy wheels. Of what’s visible, the interior seems to be equipped with a couple of bucket seats and a roll cage.
The company claims that this racing version of the Mini Clubman will churn out 395PS and features an all-wheel drive system, giving it a ‘virtual’ 0-100kmph time in just 3.5 seconds and a top-speed of 290kmph in the game. So, if you already own a PlayStation 3 Gran Turismo 6 game then, you can get the Mini Clubman Vision Gran Turismo for free... virtually though.
