Mahindra & Mahindra has announced that its Maxximo 0.85-tonne payload mini-truck has completed five years on Indian roads. To commemorate this occasion, the company is offering two initiatives to its customers. These include a three years or One lakh km warranty (whichever is earlier) on the Maxximo Plus engine and 'Promise of Same Day Service' across all its workshops for Maxximo owners.
The Maxximo is already available in the market with a warranty of two years or 60,000km (whichever is earlier). The three years or One lakh km warranty on Maxximo Plus engine is applicable on vehicles purchased after March 1, 2015.
Commenting on this occasion, Vivek Nayer, Chief Marketing Officer, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, said, “At Mahindra we always believe in making customer centric, class leading offerings. Maxximo has successfully delivered on its promise of being a game-changer by offering world-class technology, best in class safety features, class-leading power and mileage to the mini-truck customers. Further with the launch of Maxximo Plus we created an enhanced value proposition for the customers by providing him with the pioneering Fuel Smart technology. Going forward we will continue to partner our customers in their endeavour to progress in life and the 5th anniversary celebration initiatives are in line with this thinking.”
Launched at the 2010 Delhi Auto Expo, the Maxximo was the first product that rolled out of the Chakan manufacturing facility of the Indian automaker. In the year 2013, the company released a refreshed version of the mini-truck and named it as Maxximo Plus. The Maxximo range includes the Maxximo Plus and Maxximo CNG in the commercial load carrier segment and the Maxximo Mini Van and Maxximo Mini Van VX in the commercial passenger segment.
