Mercedes has confirmed that the updated E-Class LWB is expected to be launched in India in the second half of 2024.

Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the long-wheelbase version of the sixth-generation E-Class in China. Similar to the standard E-Class, it features the updated design, a minimalist cabin layout, and a range of convenience and safety features, but up here, you get way more legroom. Let's explore its design, features, and expected India pricing in the read below.

Design

The overall design of the car remains similar, except for the side profile and enlarged rear door, where it’s immediately evident that this is the long-wheelbase version. Mercedes also gives the option for E-Class customers in China to have it with the chrome-laden grille with the tri-pointed ornament mounted on the hood. But in India, expect the standard version with the conventional grille to be offered.

Interior

Inside, the E-Class gets the stunning looking MBUX Superscreen, comprising a standalone 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and a  central 14.4-inch screen and an additional 12.3-inch display for the front passenger mounted underneath a single panel of glass. The cabin has a minimalist design, with sleekAC vents positioned above the central display and touch-sensitive climate controls below it. It also features ambient lighting throughout the cabin which creates a posh atmosphere, espcially at night.

India Arrival
