ZBoard Electric-powered skateboard

We love all things motorised. So when we stumbled upon this ultra cool electric skateboard, we had to look into it. The Zboard sports weight sensing sensors and the user only has to lean forward on the front footpad to accelerate and lean back on the rear footpad to brake. Powered by a 400W electric motor, this radical gadget can reach speeds upwards of 25km/h and can run for about 10km on a single charge!

The more expensive ZBoard Pro, which uses lithium-ion rather than sealed lead acid batteries for lowered weight and increased performance, takes you as far as 16 km on a single charge with speeds up to 27 km/h. The ZBoard is designed by Hermosa Beach, California-based Intuitive Motion Inc. The Classic retails for US$599 (27,612 INR) and the Pro for $849 (46,980 INR).
