CASKA introduces Caska Reddrive Smart Series through Auto Trendz

Targets to sell 50,000 units by December 2011 through 20 distributors and over 200 dealers of Auto Trendz

Valued at Rs.100 crores, the Indian market is one of the largest markets in the world for car infotainment systems, and looking to capture a 20% market share in India by 2011, Chinese in-car electronic systems manufacturer CASKA, has announced the launch of the new CASKA REDDRIVE SMART SERIES for the Indian automobile sector with its India partner Auto Trendz.



The new in car entertainment system is an all in one intelligent multimedia technology system for automobiles which will be available across India from June 2011 onwards through Auto Trendz’s 20 distributors and 200 dealers with price points varying between Rs 31,990 – 49,990.



This product is targeted at the hi-end cars users and also to those who aspire to use ipods, iphones, browse through television channels and also read books digitally, all within their comfort zone inside their vehicles. It will also provide a full touch screen navigation system with the latest and most advanced one India mapping.



Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Peter Chen General Manager, Coagent Electronics S&T Co Ltd (Parent company of CASKA) said “Keeping pace with technological advancements we will very soon launch the E-car system, which will be based on 3G services also supporting the incoming concept of telematics. It will allow one Smart Series user to get connected with the other via 3G network or GSM network.”



CASKA is already in the process of tying up with companies like General Motors, Hyundai Motors for approving the REDDDRIVE SMART SERIES, and targets to attain 50,000 Indian customers for its products by December 2011.
