We FINALLY got a chance to swing a leg over the Speed 400 | Here’s how it is in the real world

Looks every bit premium | Fit & finish levels are top-notch

The 398cc liquid-cooled mill is a gem of an engine | Punchy enough to have fun in the city & quick enough to munch miles on | Feels quite refined too

That said, it doesn’t have the manicness that the Dukes have | Those looking for madness may have to overlook the Speed 400

USD fork & monoshock have been tuned according to Indian roads | Feels reasonably comfortable over broken roads yet composed when you push it hard

Brakes aren’t super sharp and could do with a bit more progression | But they’re enough to get you out of most hairy situations

Semi-digital console looks nice but Triumph could’ve put the tachometer as the analogue part instead of putting it in the LCD screen

All in all though, the Speed 400 has mightily impressed us

And the mouth-watering Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom) price is icing on the cake | Fantastic buy

Engine, comfort, features and more, we deep dive into all of it
