We have recently ridden the Hero Xtreme 125R and here are our thoughts on the all-new 125cc bike:

Sharp body design feels inspired by Zero Motorcycles — Tank extensions look imposing, and can appear wide & awkward when sitting on the bike

125cc engine makes 11.55PS & 10.5Nm: More than adequate for a bike in this category — Is sufficiently quick and can hit speeds of 98kmph

Motor is really refined: smooth and vibration free till the start of the redline — Tractable too, can carry speeds of 20kmph in 4th gear easily

Superb chassis + 37mm telescopic fork and monoshock + 17-inch wheels = Excellent handling dynamics — Very nimble to manoeuvre

Brakes provide plenty of bite and confidence — Brake lever provides great feel as well — Upright riding posture makes it perfect for city as well as highway rides

Decent list of features with the fully digital negative LCD console — Works quite well too
