Honda has officially launched its Mobile Power Pack Exchanger e: globally. This battery swap station would be first used in the Japanese and Indian market.

Users will be able to exchange a used battery for a fully charged one by simply using the dedicated card.

The Power Pack Exchanger e: is intended for e-scooters, electric motorcycles and three-wheelers which would use the same battery pack.

The exchanger is a modular unit and can be extended using “extension” units.

Honda has already set up a subsidiary in India and has been running a pilot program with three-wheelers. We expect Honda’s upcoming EV in India to make use of the same battery pack and battery swap stations.
